After being signed in outside Rooms 201 and 202, GFF will have game time, prayer time,
dinner in Eversull Hall, worship in the Chapel with PYC, Bible story time, and
response time with craft or service. GFF’s curriculum is called “Friends and
Family in Faith.” GFF begins at 5:30 pm and ends at 7:30 pm. Homework Club will follow
until 8:00 pm in the Vista Room (206) for those with older siblings in KIX and
TIM or those whose parents practice with the Chancel Choir.
PYC
(Presbyterian Youth Club)

for grades 3-5
PYC is for students in grades 3- 5 and meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Vista Room (206). PYCers will participate in worship, discipleship (interactive Bible lessons), service (mission projects) and fellowship (games, meal). PYC’s curriculum is called “Surprising Stories.” PYC begins at 5:30 and ends at 7:30 pm. Homework Club will follow until 8:00 pm in the Vista Room for those with older siblings in KIX and TIM or for those whose parents practice with the Chancel Choir.
FAITHQUEST SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday Mornings
for grades K-5
FaithQuest is the Sunday School program for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. FaithQuest is based on the Workshop Rotation Model for Christian Education. Recognizing that children learn differently and through repetition, major Bible stories and concepts are taught using activities that actively engage all the senses. Students hear the same Bible lesson repeated for a 2, 3, or 4 week period as they "rotate" through different learning areas to experience it through several different ways: art, Bible skills, cooking, drama, movement, audiovisual, computers, music, and storytelling.
FaithQuest students gather in the Sanctuary at 9:15 am for an opening and then leave with their Shepherds for their workshops. At 10:15 am, students are picked up by their families.

CHILDREN'S CHAPEL
Sunday Mornings During 10:30 AM Worship
for children ages 3 through 3rd grade
First United recognizes the importance of even our youngest members experiencing worship with the rest of our faith community. During the 10:30 worship service, all children ages 3 and up attend the first part of the worship service with their families. After the pastor shares time with the children, at approximately 10:40, students ages 3 through 3rd grade leave with adult Worship Leaders and Greeters to attend their own carefully designed, age appropriate worship time in Children's Chapel.
Of course, parents are also always welcome to keep their children with them in worship.
